Aslı Suner

She has graduated Yildiz Technical University in 1996, continuing her degree in Master of Architecture at USC, Los Angeles, CA. Upon her graduation she remained in US to practice architecture.

Between 1998 – 2006 she first worked with Dworsky Associates, 40-year-LA-design firm and then with Cannon Design, an international AE Firm, on various types of mid-to-large-size projects at different levels and phases, in ranging typologies from health to justice, from commercial to education.

Her interest in sustainable architecture led her to obtain a LEED Accredited Professional status in 2003. In 2006 she moved back to Istanbul, Turkey, where she joined Foster + Partners’ office as a project leader for a range of projects. In 2008 she was promoted to be an associate with the firm.

In 2010 she established designcase architecture. sustainability planning. Same year she became a BREEAM assessor and is serving as a consultant in the technical committee under ÇEDBIK, Turkey’s emerging Green Building Council.

She served in the publishing committee for the EKOYAPI magazine with a focus on sustainable architecture and contributed with articles. Since 2015 she is teaching studio and lecture class on sustainble architecture at Kadir Has University’s Architecture Department as an adjunct faculty.

Serçin Bediroğlu 

She has started her architectural studies in TU Wien and continued to receive her degree in Architecture from Mimar Sinan University in İstanbul.

Her professional career has begun in the architectural office of one of her professors, Prof. Mustafa Demirkan, with tourism and production facility projects during her university years, then she worked with KM Architecture for 14 years on various projects in mid and large scale, mainly with residential, tourism, office, retail function as an architect, project leader and project coordinator.

In 2013 she worked as design coordinator for Toksöz Group for the new factory and hotel constructions, which are the company’s own investments In this period she has also done the site survey work.

In 2016 she joined Designcase architecture sustainabilty planning and continues her studies as a partner of the company.
